Thunderbolts*
A film by Jake Schreier
w/ Lewis Pullman, Florence Pugh, Hannah John-Kamen
Rated PG13
2hr 6min
In "Thunderbolts*," Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes -- Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it's too late?
It's the willingness to delve into the depths of human woes through the lens of these characters (most of whom just so happen to be superhuman) that makes Thunderbolts* one of the most impactful Marvel films to date.

We're Watching What?!
Elements of trauma, identity, and acceptance permeate the film even as audacious action scenes erupt in random intervals. At times, this feels like Marvel’s art-house project. Most importantly, Thunderbolts* is the best Marvel film in years.
